Hello Friends....
Welcome to alpineseye,

home page for Alpine Photography, Alpine Creative Services and Alpine Tech Instruction.
Chris Woodcox, also known as “Alpine,” began seriously chronicling his experiences through the lens in 1999 – when digital photography was a relatively new concept to the public. Naturally adapting to this higher form of photographic technology, he and his camera literally became “attached at the wrist.” Whether attending a social gathering or live music venue, a weekend getaway to a family vacation, Chris documented every moment. It didn't take long before family and friends took interest in his ability to tell a story through photography – and requests for his talent grew. With an ever-growing digital image
collection of well over 100,000 (JPEG's). A collection consisting of various portraits, live music, parties, holiday gatherings, weddings and everything in between. Chris' images can be found in many local publications, promotional material, CD covers and various websites.
"I love photography it is my passion. It allows me to share my experience, my vision and how I view the world around us with others."

Chris not only a photographer but a father, a husband and artist. "I am fortunate to be a part of an active and thriving art community". Nestled in northern part of the golden state approximately ninety miles north of the state capital lies the jewel of the Sacramento valley. Chico is a relatively small city with an urban population of around 106,966 (as of 1/1/2009). Chris has been a resident of Chico since 1980. A community of talented and inspiring painters, poets, dancers, musicians and the like call Chico home. Check out this local artisan web-site commonpath.org to learn more about the local Chico art and music scene (See Alpine Photography under: Featured Business). Other things that make Chico so special are -- Sierra Nevada Brewery, Chico State University and beautiful, majestic Bidwell Park just to name a few.
Chico truly is a wonderful place to call home.
